The Process: Vision & Design
Since they wanted an outdoor space that truly felt like an extension of the home, one of our designers, Ken Gibson, began designing a stylish covered structure to match the house, full outdoor kitchen, cozy gas fire pit area, LED outdoor lighting, all atop a gorgeous stamped concrete patio.
The patio was designed to fit with the existing topography, which allowed for an upper area under the covered structure and a lower firepit area the family could step down into. The “L” shaped kitchen tied into one of the covered structure’s columns, offering bar seating along the outside edge and allowing for a multi-purpose feature. The seating walls and firepit on this project at Belgard Weston Wall, in a Brittany Beige blend- a perfect complement to the chestnut patio color.
The crème de la crème was the vaulted Tongue & Groove Pine Ceilings, Cedar Beams, and custom SmartTrim tapered columns painted to match the house to truly make the outdoor living area feel like an extension of the home.
